On January 7, 2025, SWS Medical welcomed a special guest to our headquarters in Chongqing: V. Venkatesh, CEO of Nanotech Inc., our trusted partner in India. This visit marked a heartwarming reunion and celebrated 18 years of unwavering collaboration, trust, and shared achievements in bringing life-saving dialysis solutions to patients in India.

The Beginning: A Partnership Rooted in Trust

The story began in 2006 when V. Venkatesh first visited Chongqing and met Mr. Gao, our founder. At the time, SWS Medical was a small but ambitious company, focused on developing blood purification equipment. Despite being a newcomer in a market dominated by international brands, SWS Medical’s commitment to quality and innovation caught V. Venkatesh’s attention.

A Milestone Moment: The First Export to India

One of our journey's most memorable moments was the first SWS dialysis machine exported internationally. This marked the beginning of a partnership that would significantly improve dialysis care in the region.

The image of an Indian patient receiving life-saving care with our machine remains a powerful symbol of our mission: to make high-quality dialysis accessible to all.

A Warm Reunion: Looking Back and Moving Forward

During his recent visit, V. Venkatesh toured our state-of-the-art R&D center and smart manufacturing facilities. Reflecting on our journey, he shared:

Growth and Innovation: From India to the World

Over the past 18 years, SWS Medical and many partners like Nanotech Inc. have worked hand in hand to overcome challenges, adapt to local needs, and deliver cutting-edge dialysis solutions. Today, SWS Medical has grown from a small team of 60 to a leading enterprise with over 1,200 employees, offering a comprehensive range of blood purification products and services.

Our partnership with Nanotech Inc. has been instrumental in establishing SWS Medical as a trusted name in India. Together, we have installed hundreds of dialysis machines across the country, improving the lives of countless patients.

But our journey doesn’t stop there, SWS Medical has expanded its reach to 83 countries worldwide, including Italy, Greece, Spain, Malaysia, and South Africa. In 2024 alone, overseas exports accounted for nearly 50% of our dialysis machine sales, a testament to our growing global presence.
