SWS Medical welcomed a Belarusian delegation to its headquarters on March 14, 2025, with the goal of expanding access to advanced dialysis technologies to improve renal care in Belarus. The visit, coordinated with the China International Pharmaceutical and Health Corporation (Sinopharm), featured key officials such as Mr. Aleksandr Podkovyrov, Minister-Counselor of the Belarusian Embassy in China, alongside representatives from the Belarusian Consulate in Chongqing and the Ministry of Health’s Scientific and Practical Center.

 

During the visit, the delegation toured SWS Medical’s cutting-edge facilities, including its research and development center and production lines, where they observed the innovative processes involved in developing and manufacturing blood purification equipment and disposables. Podkovyrov commended SWS Medical’s corporate culture and technical capabilities, drawing a parallel between the company's name, "Shan Wai Shan" (山外山), and a Chinese proverb that signifies striving for excellence. He also emphasized the growing needs for medical equipment, stating, “Belarus has significant demand for medical equipment procurement and affordable services.” Podkovyrov’s commitment to fostering academic and cultural exchanges between China and Belarus, emphasizing that introducing innovative products like those from SWS Medical could enhance dialysis care accessibility and ultimately improve public health outcomes.
